The largest high-tech exhibition in Thailand – FTI EXPO 2025 – ended in Bangkok this week with the participation of the Russian delegation under the auspices of the Russian-Thai Business Council (RTBC)

Russian companies demonstrated their achievements in metallurgy, IT, education and the agro-industrial complex emphasizing the potential for cooperation with Thai partners. The key event was the speech of the Chairman of the RTBC and shareholder of the Novostal-M metallurgical holding Ivan Demchenko on the main stage together with the Russian Ambassador to Thailand Evgeny Tomikhin. The presentation featured Russian technologies aimed at digitalization and sustainable development. Ivan Demchenko also took part in the official reception of the Prime Minister of Thailand.

The Novostal-M holding presented its products including rebar, blanks and wire rod as well as technological solutions for the new rolling mill at the Steel Factory Balakovo. The main products will be high-strength rails for high-speed railways and hot-rolled beams with an increased strength class.

Thai construction companies were especially interested in A550СК reinforcement which allows 10% cost reduction. Dialogue with Thai partners opened up new prospects for cooperation in infrastructure projects and important agreements were reached on joint work in key regions – Bangkok and Phuket.
