The Chamber of Commerce & Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of the Russian Federation) held an introductory meeting of the Committee for the Development of the Closed-Loop Economy. The principles of the closed-loop economy are the basis for achieving the goals of sustainable development and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

The new Committee of the CCI of the Russian Federation will deal with the involvement of secondary resources (production and consumption waste) in the creation of new products. The Committee includes representatives of the expert community, industry associations and industrial enterprises.

The Novostal-M Metallurgical Holding will take an active part in the work of the Committee for the development of the scrap metal procurement and processing industry as well as for the processing of metallurgical industrial waste to create new products.
