We sum up the first day of the business forum in Thailand.

On November 25, a delegation from Novostal-M holding took part in the Russian-Thai Business Forum in Bangkok. The main goal of the forum is to strengthen economic and industrial relations between Russia and Thailand.

At the opening of the event, Ivan Demchenko, Chairman of the Russian-Thai Business Council and shareholder of Novostal-M holding, and Kriengkrai Thiennukun, Chairman of the Thai-Russian Business Council, signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document envisages the implementation of a wide range of activities to support business initiatives of both countries.

Some of the important events:

– Novostal-M, together with Delovaya Rossiya, FTI, SSI, the Russian Embassy and the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, planned to conclude agreements on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025;
– representatives of the holding spoke at several plenary sessions: metallurgy and mechanical engineering, food production and light industry, logistics and finance, promising areas of cooperation;
– Novostal-M experts took part in a round table on scientific and educational cooperation.

Ivan Demchenko emphasized:
- I would like to summarize the opening with a Thai proverb: White elephants are born in the forest (A white elephant is born only in the jungle - good things are hard to find). And I hope that our forum is this real elephant.
