What happened on the first day of the Metal-Expo:

— Our stand was visited by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Yurin.
— We held more than 50 official meetings with our Russian and foreign partners.
— Chairman of the Board of the Novostal-M holding Ivan Demchenko met with journalists from the Metallosnabzhenie i Sbyt publication. He spoke about the implementation of large-scale investment projects, the situation on the rolled products market, the development of export deliveries and the situation on the labor market.
— We took part in a meeting of the Coordination Council for Industrial Policy in the Metallurgical Complex.

At the meeting of the council, Nikita Ryblenkov, Executive Secretary of AESW and General Director of Novostal-M, noted:
"One of the priorities today is to allocate separate statistical accounting for electrometallurgy. This is necessary so that industry decisions by departments correspond to the technological and economic characteristics of electrometallurgists."
