In 2021, Novostal-M Holding, in cooperation with their partners from the PwC consulting company performed a comprehensive audit of the factory’s ESG system. It showed a high level of maturity and the willingness of the holding's enterprises to develop environmental risk management and climate strategy at a qualitatively new level.

This year, the holding started a Sustainable Development Committee, and they are to develop a program to improve environmental efficiency and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in 2022.

Despite the fact that electrometallurgy has the smallest carbon footprint in the industry, nowadays it is very important to make common efforts for the industry’s ESG transformation.
