The ESWA's primary strategic task will be to increase raw materials supply and to develop new mechanisms to boost the procurement of scrap metal.

They also plan to work on an industry climate strategy to achieve a competitive potential, following global trends in carbon regulation, as well as to develop their manufacturing systems and to help companies develop new types of production.
